Victim Support Norfolk

Nick RossA foreword by Nick Ross

Almost everyone gets hurt, attacked, bullied or has something stolen. It’s a sad fact of life. You may have done something nasty to others. You may feel you are unfairly victimised. Sometimes you can shrug your shoulders, but it’s normal to have feelings about it: anger, fear, upset or guilt. Bottling those feelings up is probably not a good idea. It’s good to talk it through with family or friends. But sometimes it’s easier to talk to someone who is not so close to you, who is not going to get upset or judgemental at anything you say and who understands crime and its effects on young people.

Whatever you’ve done or whatever has happened to you, if you’re feeling bad about it, try calling the people at Victim Support. They’re friendly, they’re professional, there’s no charge, and they deal with tens of thousands of cases every year. You might be surprised at how much they can make you feel better.

Being a victim of crime is not your fault. Victim Support is only a phone call away.
