Free support to victims of crime

Victim Support has trained volunteers to make sure that if you are affected by crime you can get the information, help and support you need. It won’t cost anything to get this help.

Free support to witnesses of crime

Victim Support Witness Service has volunteers who are trained to support you if you have to go to court as a witness. The service is free.

Confidential

Victim Support respects your right to contact them in private. They will not pass on what you say to anyone else without your permission, unless you or somebody else is at risk of harm and even then they wouldn’t do anything without talking with you first.

Not part of the police

Victim Support is a charity for anyone affected by crime. They are independent; not part of the police or government.
